Wildlife Center Ecolodge

The eco hotel will be a unique destination focused on conservation and connection in the lowlands of Colombia’s Sierra Nevada. It will be developed in harmony with the surrounding landscape, with minimal impact on the land, waters, and life in the reserve.

While all the facts and research tell us about the richness, as well as the fragility, of biodiversity in this region, they can never replace the understanding one attains from firsthand experience – of leaving behind our own worlds and finding the opportunity to make new connections, with nature, but also connection with one’s self.

At the eco hotel we encourage curiosity, but not at a cost. We believe that tourism can offer an opportunity to escape, but also be mindful and transformative.

The eco hotel will primarily operate as a center for community and global leaders to come together to better understand the challenges facing our precious ecosystems. With guidance from ecologists and researchers, visitors will have the opportunity to benefit from training and education that connects them with their surroundings, but also enrich themselves through self-reflection and mindfulness during their stay at the Ecolodge.
