Anukwe has an alliance with Fundación Bachaqueros, who support through a “nursery association” program the technical and professional support for the management of native plant species from the mid-altitude tropical region where Anukwe is located.
Our shared objectives are to restore around 200 hectares of the ecosystem with endemic plants and fruit trees, to ensure that animal species in danger of extinction in the region, such as the howler monkey and the Jaguar, thrive again, and finally, to capture more than 5 thousand tons of carbon per year.
